is FieldStone’s motto. And we absolutely deliver on that promise every day for FieldStone families. The way we go about delivering our impressive homes at affordable prices might surprise you. When a family invests its hard-earned resources in a home, they should expect the homebuilder to devote its resources to them. And that’s what our Certified Home Program is all about. We know that attention to every detail creates a quality product. That’s why FieldStone intentionally goes beyond what other homebuilders do to ensure that you not only get more space for less money but superb quality, as well. We think you deserve it and we’ll even go so far as to put it in writing through our Certified Home Program.

Pre-Construction Meeting
Customer involvement is extremely important to FieldStone Homes. After all, we’re not building just another house, we are building your family’s home. So before the building of your home begins, we hold a pre-construction meeting to go over all of the aspects of construction. We take time to verify all of the selections that you’ve made at the FieldStone HomeFitting® Center.
You’ll also get to meet the construction manager responsible for your family’s home, talk about construction timeframes, learn about all of your warranties, and have the opportunity to ask all the questions you want.

This pre-construction meeting gets the process off on the right foot and let’s you know that you are more than welcome to be involved in the process.

Interim Framing Walkthrough
Once the frame for your home has been put in place, we invite you to walk with the construction manager as we take a look at the progress to date. We review the structural items, in-home options to be installed and even discuss how the property will drain. This is also another great opportunity for you to ask questions so you’ll feel secure about the final product.

Quality Checkpoints
FieldStone’s eight-step Quality Checkpoints program helps us build structural character into every FieldStone home. These inspection points help us ensure your home meets our high construction standards every step of the way. There is a long list of items we check in each step:

1. Foundation
2. Interim Frame
3. Framing and Mechanical
4. Drywall
5. Interior Trim
6. Interior Paint
7. Mechanical Trims, Flooring, Tile, Lighting, Plumbing, Air Conditioning
8. Final Inspection to include an overall review of the structure, inside finish-out and testing of appliances and mechanical items
9. Third-party energy efficiency inspections

We Inspect and are Inspected
Even though construction can take as little as 3 months, your home will go through more than 20 inspections. FieldStone conducts its own inspections but we also hire outside  inspectors to scrutinize every aspect of the structure. FieldStone uses Housing Energy Rating Specialists to inspect your home to make sure it can be “ENERGY STAR” approved.

That means the home:
•is thoroughly sealed and well-insulated
•includes air ducts that are tightly constructed to prevent air loss
•contains windows that efficiently handle heat and cold
•is inspected by a certified third party to verify all of these items

City inspectors also verify both structural and mechanical finishing for quality installation.

But we’re still not done. FieldStone’s own insurance provider assigns risk engineers to provide quarterly inspections at all phases of home construction.

By the time FieldStone completes a home, customers can be certain that every detail has been studied, installed and inspected with great care. That type of quality construction gives homeowners peace of mind. Let’s face it, buying a home is a major step for any family and your homebuilder’s job is to make things go right. FieldStone families can count on that type of customer care.
